Family Fund is the UK's largest charity, providing grants and services to families raising disabled, and seriously ill, children and young people, on low incomes.
Raising a disabled child costs three times more than a child without additional needs. In these difficult times, with rising prices for fuel and food and post-pandemic debt, families raising disabled children need more support than ever. You can help us provide grants for essential family items such as kitchen appliances, clothing, bedding or furniture, specialist play equipment or adapted toys. Even a small donation makes a big difference.
To donate £10 to Family Fund, please visit https://www.familyfund.org.uk/ or text FAMILYMOMENTS 10 to 70085. * Any amount up to £20 can be donated by replacing '10' with your preferred number, for example to donate £5 text "FAMILYMOMENTS 5". Texts cost your chosen donation amount plus one standard network rate message and you'll be opting in to hear more about our work and fundraising via telephone and SMS. If you'd like to give £10 but do not wish to receive marketing communications, text "FAMILYMOMENTSNOINFO 10" to 70085
For the last two years, McCain has been a fly on the wall of family life through the McCain Nation's Conversations research series, surveying families across the UK to get to know what happens in kitchens, living rooms and anywhere else we eat together.
This year, hand in hand with Family Fund, the series continues but with a special focus on how family life is experienced by families raising disabled or seriously ill children, surveying those who have been directly helped by Family Fund alongside families without disabled children across the UK.
